Absolutely. If you have a favorite piece of furniture, accessory or something that holds sentimental value, please let us know at while filling out your questionnaire. This ensures the design is coordinated around these valuables. We’ll ask you to send photos as well.
We use exclusive to-the-trade-only vendors that allow me to order at Pottery Barn quality and above. Because we focus on quality and durability, that Pottery Barn level you’re likely familiar with is our starting point. We find most clients like custom and bespoke touches sprinkled throughout their rooms and will work with our vendors to create unique, one-of-a-kind items that are built by hand, specifically for you.
This all depends on the overall scope. A new construction project could take 1 to 2 years to design, build, and finalize. Whereas a bathroom renovation could take 2 months from design to construction. Once Payal Bansal Design sits down with you to learn more about your project, we will be able to provide an estimated timeline.

Yes, every project starts with the 18”x18” paid sample before it goes into actual size production. Sample are a deconstructed form to assist and help with color matching, design and palette perfection! These color cards are intended to be used as a GUIDE ONLY.

Because most of our rugs are made to order, they can be customized to any size you need. All custom size rugs will add an additional 1-3 weeks to lead time.
* Please note that due to their handmade nature, rugs can vary in consistency with unique variants and can vary from published size from 1-6 inches. Therefore, we only offer custom sizes in whole and half foot increments.

Clean at home by vacuuming (BEATER BRUSH TURNED OFF!) as needed or spot treat by dabbing with hot water and a clear mild dish soap.
It’s imperative that you NEVER use a beater brush on our rugs as this can pull the knots and damage the rug.
If needed, you can have your rug professionally cleaned by a company that specializes in handmade wool rugs.
To store your rug, roll tight like a tootsie roll, face side out, and cover with white or light-colored cloth in a cool dry place.

Payal Bansal Design will offer a full refund if the cancellation is placed within 24 hours of order placement.
Cancellation requests made after 24 hours of order placement will incur a 25% restocking fee per rug.
